Practice tonight at 5 PM, game Saturday 10 AM @ Lascassas

It looks like we will dodge the rain clouds long enough to have practice today at 5 PM. Then we play at Lascassas on Saturday morning at 10:00 AM. Please be at Lascassas no later than 9:30 AM

Saturday's game time changed to 2 PM

Sorry for the late notice, but Kittrell had a conflict, so we had to push the game back a few hours from 10 AM to 2 PM (04/21/12). Please have your player at the field at least 30 minutes before game time for warm-ups.

Team photos will be taken in the gym after practice today

UPDATE: Wear your uniforms to practice today. We will try to stay clean - just a little batting practice.  Wear practice clothes but bring uniform, including cap, to practice today. Practice will end a few minutes early to give the players time to change clothes and be ready for  pictures  by 6:00 PM. I have extra photo order forms if you need one.

Field change for Tuesday practices

Starting this week (04/03/12), Tuesday practices will move to the small field.

Saturday's Jamboree game update

Our Jamboree game this Saturday (03/31/12) will start at 11 AM on the big field.

Tuesday practice cancelled and jamboree update

Tuesday's (03/27/12) practice has been cancelled due to the mandatory coaches meeting. We will practice as scheduled at 5 PM Thursday.  Also, we have Friday's schedule for this weekend's Jamboree: we are playing Friday night (03/30/12) at 7 PM on the big field. We will also play a game on Saturday (03/31/12) sometime between 9 AM and 2 PM. I hope to find out the time of Saturday's game by tomorrow evening.

Let there be lights

Quality Electric Service began work on the lights at the big field today. They were gone when I came back to check on things, so I don't know how much they got done today, but I am hoping the weather stays nice, and they are back on the field tomorrow.

No Practice Thursday (03/22/12)

We are taking this Thursday off, but please continue to practice with your child a few minutes each day if possible. Repetition is one of the keys to improvement.

We will be back on our regular practice schedule next week, and I hope to know the day and time of our Jamboree game by the time we see each other again on March 27.

No Practice Today and Field Day Reminder

The radar is showing a large line of showers and thundershowers headed our way, so we will not have practice this afternoon.

Also, I would like to remind everyone that BUCHANAN FIELD DAY is this Saturday, 03/17/2012,  from 10 AM - 3 PM. We need at least one parent of every player to show up. Bring tools, paint brushes and cleaning supplies if you have them.

No Practice Tonight

First Practice tonight at 6:00 PM

We will be practicing on the big field tonight (and every Tuesday going forward). Players bring your baseball gloves and wear a baseball cap if you have one.

Practice Times Update

Our practice times are now posted on the calendar page of this website. Please note our Thursday practice time has been moved up from 6:00 PM to 5:00 PM. I spoke with Jerrold on Monday (02/27), and we will have our first practice next Tuesday, if the weather permits. So, unless you hear differently from one of us in the meantime, we'll see you all next Tuesday at 6:00 PM on the big field.
